Our students range in age from 12-21. Most are high-school students. Short term placements last for a period a few days to a few weeks. Most of our students originate from Japan. Many of our students have made life-long relationships with their host families. International student placements are also a great way to expose your own children to other cultures.

North Vancouver – A Favourite Homestay Destination
North Vancouver is a popular destination for international homestay students for many reasons. Over the years North Vancouver has built a reputation as having some of the finest schools, suitable homestay residential areas, safety and a natural environment that every international student desires.
North Vancouver is comprised of two municipalities: The District of North Vancouver and North Vancouver City. They share many of the same resources. North Vancouver is home to many parks and recreational facilities, movie theatres, multiple shopping centres, golf courses, museums and theatres. North Vancouver has an active sea wall which is an ideal place for sightseeing and walking.
North Vancouver is home to some of the regions most popular tourist attractions such as the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the Lynn Canyon suspension bridge and park, Grouse Mountain, Mount Seymour Provincial Park, the Cleveland Dam, Capilano Fish Hatchery.
Deep Cove is another area at the Eastern edge of North Vancouver. This region is full of natural wonders, hiking trails, mountain biking and various water sports on Indian Arm and Burrard Inlet.

North Vancouver School District 44
North Vancouver is home to School District 44. Over the years we have worked closely with almost all of the regions schools to help fill fulltime and short term ESL and international school programs. District 44 includes many of Vancouver’s finest schools and they are always looking for international student placements for their programs. Argyle, Carson Graham, Handsworth, Seycove, Sutherland and Windsor are all Secondary schools in North Vancouver. There are also many elementary schools for our younger groups and the very popular Capilano University for older students.
